Therefore, asking students to read assigned material cooperatively is more effective than individual reading. Furthermore, the experience of working cooperatively with others results in increased motivation. However, one of the problems of implementing cooperative learning is that students are not usually accustomed to working together. In fact, without receiving training on how to work cooperatively the students may continue the competitive or individualistic efforts while being a member of a group. The current-research based book intended to investigate the effects of cooperative learning strategy training on reading comprehension and motivation of the readers. Studying this book will be especially helpful to EFL practitioners, eachers, students, and researchers. The book could also help pave the way for further research on utilizing cooperative learning strategy training to improve reading comprehension and motivation.
