Separation is a process of isolation, per-concentration and recovery of solute of interest from mixture of solutes.This study reveals that the batch extraction of ampicillin, cephalexin, cefedroxil land ciprofloxacin by ELM system (B) consisting cyanex -301- span 80-toluene is better than the ELM (A) system consisting Aliquat - 336 span - 80 - toluene, the scale up study may therefore be confirmed using (B) system for real industrial samples.
