As a parent of an 8-year-old girl in the 21st century I fear societal norms and social media’s residual regarding anxiety, depression, loneliness, suicidal thoughts and the promotion of self-sexualizing behaviors. I don’t want my daughter to believe she is less than, or all she can become is someone’s lover, mother, or housewife. She isn’t anyone’s property, and she doesn’t have to give anyone power over her. To achieve anything of real value in this life, you must believe you are deserving and worth it. If you can see yourself living the dream, then you can manifest destiny but first you must believe in yourself. This book comes from the unconditional love a father has for his daughter. My highest expectations for her living her best life. I composed 'empowerment' to educate my 8 year old Maya on the limitless possibilities of what she can achieve when she becomes a woman. For one year I wrote an affirmation every morning before she prepared for the school day. Positive statements to empower her to find inner strength, overcome self-doubts, and encourage self-esteem and value. My hope is that every girl or woman who comes in contact with this book will believe in themselves that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. To wholeheartedly focus on manifesting their dreams and aspirations instead of dependency and the perception of being the inferior and or the weaker sex. To never be influenced by negative people's thoughts and opinions. I am living proof this book of affirmations works. I first used my affirmations on my son Lucien who was granted a scholarship to the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art which ranks #2 in the 2022-2023 edition of Best Colleges in the North. He went on to be the highest paid visual artists in the country fetching $389,0000 at auction when he was 22 years old. My daughter Maya who is 8 years old is a straight A student for the last 4 years, perfect conduct and is excelling in Gymnastics, Chess, Swimming, Piano, Singing, Karate and just won her age group Tennis Tournament. This book will save lives.
