Jacqui Hazell is the award-winning author of My Life as a Bench. Born near Portsmouth, England, she studied textile design at Nottingham and has an MA in creative writing from Royal Holloway, University of London. She has worked as a card designer, journalist and magazine editor. She lives in London.
