An effort has been made to examine the electrochemical properties of copper (II) solution in the absence and presence of an amino acid, L-Histidine. For the study of redox behaviour of copper (II) solution cyclic voltammter was used. Cyclic voltammograms were recorded by varying different parameters like scan rate, mole ratios. Assessment of interfacial behavior was also performed by this technique.

Dr. Misbah Nazir and Dr. Atya Hassan are teaching in Department of Chemistry, University of Karachi and Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology respectively. Their field of interest is Electrochemistry. Muhammad Ali Minhas has completed his Masters in 2014. Currently he is doing M.Phil. leading to Ph.D
