Gary N. Knoppers, Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University, is Professor of Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies at Penn State University. He has published extensively in biblical studies and ancient Near East. Antoine Hirsch, Ph.D. in Near and Middle Civilizations, University of Toronto, is a scholar in Egyptology.
