In this book we studied the magneto peristaltic transport of Newtonian fluid under the effect of couple stress, magnetic field, porous medium, no-slip assumption and heat transfer in asymmetric horizontal channel. The governing equations are calculated under the assumptions of the long wavelength and low Reynolds number approximation. Two problems have been determined and the analytical solutions for these problems have been obtained by using different methods. In the first problem, the effect of couple stress and porous medium on transient magneto peristaltic flow of Newtonian fluid is considered. We have created an analytical solution for axial velocity, pressure difference, local wall shear stress, and volume flow rate. We analyzed the effect of different physical parameters that control the equations of motion through graphs.
