This book examines the effect of capacity utilization and trade openness on manufacturing output growth in Tanzania. Labor force had significant negative effect on manufacturing output growth in Tanzania while both capacity utilization and trade openness were positively significant in explaining manufacturing output growth in Tanzania. Therefore this study concludes by recommending, among other things, Tanzania by improving and increasing size of skilled labors, manufacture output growth would grow at higher rate.

Peter George Ngugulu studied at Ardhi University in Tanzania, where he got his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. In 2013, he won an outstanding idea on poverty alleviation. The competition was hosted by Tanzanian most successful entrepreneur. He also had research experience from National Institute of Medical Research were he held internship in 2013.
