IMPORTANCE OF THE INVESTIGATION Coronary Heart Disease (CHO) or Coronary Artery Disease or Ischaemic Heart Disease is now proving to be one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality throughout the world. Angina, more specifically, is the sensation of heaviness or pain in the left side of the chest which typically radiates to the left arm and may be associated with sweating, choking sensation, and breathlessness. Less often, the pain may occur on the right side of the chest, shoulders, and even the lower jaws or teeth.
