Current book is collective information about effect of climatic change on the production performance in Deoni cattle which causes major constraints in increasing production. For better management practice over impact of climate change is seen as a major threat to the survival of many species, ecosystems and the sustainability of livestock production systems in many parts of the world. Considering the above mentioned prospects as a field level for research works, an attempt has been made in this study to understand how climate change impact on livestock and to identify the mitigation strategies to reduce it. In Indian subcontinent, heat stress is the most important climatic stress. Heat stress adversely affecting productive and reproductive performance of livestock, and hence reducing the total area where high yielding dairy cattle may be economically reared were studied by the author and all results with explanation are presented here.
