A. nilotica crude and purified compound pyrogallol as antibacterial activity and by decreasing the viable cells, increasing the dead cells, protein degradation, morphological changes of S. marcescens. Additionally demonstrated the anticancer activity of AGS gastric cancer cell line by A. nilotica crude and pyrogallol. The in vitro results supported the biological effect for a wide range of A. nilotica to elucidate the underlying mechanism of action. Acacia nilotica L. exhibited the potent antimicrobial and anticancer substances. Hence, the risk of infections induced by these S. marcescens can be reduced and treatment of these infections can be increased through using A. nilotica extracts. Finally, it is recommended to use A. nilotica extract in producing new antibiotics. There is need for developing drugs from plants as microorganisms are becoming resistant to antibiotics thereby creating health problems. In fact these herbs are very useful in pharmaceutical industries. The present article is would be helpful to create awareness among people for taking control measures based on, herbal plants against infectious diseases. Further researches are needed to establish standard drugs.
