Besides it seeks to analyse thematically the four chosen ecofeminist novels. it is divided into four chapters. Chapter one is concerned with the rise of ecocriticism as a new critical approach. Chapter three tackles two econovels written by Barbara Kingsolver, and finally chapter four deals with Ruth Ozeki's two novels.

Amal Kashef is a lecturer in the faculty of education,Tanta University,Egypt.She holds a BA in English Language(1996);a BA in English Language & Literature(1998); MA in English Literature(2007); and PhD in English Literature(2012),Fayoum University,Egypt.Her academic interests are literary criticism and modern critical theories like Ecocriticism.
