The present study proposes the use of echocardiographic variables with the physiopathological alterations characteristic of hypertension and obesity, to predict hemodynamic alterations under general anaesthesia in adult patients with these diseases.Given that we know the medium- and long-term effects that pronounced hemodynamic alterations can cause during transanesthesia, we must be prepared to address the changes to which the obese and hypertensive patient is most susceptible.
