The key idea of this book was to model a landing gear for the analysis of the behavior of an aircraft during ground maneuvers. The aircraft landing gear by its nature itself is a complex multi-degree-of-freedom system. Based on stability criterion a suitable landing gear was selected for RLV. The responses obtained and plotted in MATLAB are in line with the results of equivalent numerical model in ANSYS. It is to be highlighted that the analytical model developed can be used as a generic model for accurate prediction of linear responses of landing gears. This book is especially useful to researchers and academicians in the field of Design and Aerospace engineering.
