Jason Miller was born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island. He's lived in Boston and Los Angeles and worked on a bunch of great movies, even though his name is only in the credits of a few of them like Unbreakable and The Royal Tenenbaums. From 2001-2006 he worked at Marvel Studios while the burgeoning company was kicking off the cinematic takeover of movies by comic books. In 2009 he moved back to NYC, where he presently resides and works as a teacher.
