Caitlynne has harbored a lifelong love of books and animals. She was born and raised in Georgia and is an Appalachian State Alumni. She transplanted to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2015 and started her book-writing journey in 2019 with River the Three-Legged Dog.River the Three-Legged Dog is a story of inclusion that she feels the world needs to hear. Her second picture book, Milo the Brave was published in 2021. Down to the River and The Truth About Squirrels were both published in the Fall of 2022.She plans to continue writing picture books in her hopes of sharing meaningful, uplifting, inspiring, and often goofy messages to children (and adults) all over the world. She lives in Raleigh with her husband Cameron and their three dogs, River, Rory, and Milo.
