Welcome to the gates of hell. Just kidding. Welcome to the 100-page empire that stands before you. My name is Robert Sales. Welcome to the gates of hell. Just kidding. Welcome to the 100-page empire that stands before you. My name is Robert Sales. While I do not work in any type of sales department, I do think the connotation of my last name may have led me into the world of business and entrepreneurship. Now that we got that out of the way, I have been creating my empire for the past 22-years. Yep, straight out of the womb. Over the past 736 days, I have spent countless hours bootstrapping three businesses from the ground up. I grew these businesses operations 800%, grew myself many-a-percent, all while playing a little D&D on the weekends. Within this time frame, over a quarter of a million mini donuts have been made. I have sprinkled 500-lbs of sugar and wrested with almost two tons of mix. I was recognized at the MAC Impact Business of the Year. And I won the title of Global Entrepreneur of the Year. I have taken the challenges of a global pandemic, and with alchemy, transformed it into motivation. Now, I have written this book ¿ a collection of thoughts, ideas, and stories that all accumulate to the essence of me, and the donut empire I have created. Though it has become almost routine, I still find it fascinating. Every day a new friend of mine has stepped into the latest pyramid structure bombarding Facebook thinking they have found the hack to life, or the fast track to a million dollars. But what I have found is, the only way to truly hack life is to work hard. While shortcuts are enticing, you will eventually find yourself trapped in questionable practices and moral dilemmas. Alongside an overwhelming sense of failure, or even shame. If you really want to be successful, you must develop a loving and respectful union with life and all of its many challenges. So, change your relationship status to "It's complicated," and begin facing, and falling in love with the many possibilities and lessons life is willing to offer you.
