Si è laureato in scienze militari e ha completato sei facoltà di istruzione superiore con diplomi post-laurea e master, una laurea completa in lettere portoghesi-inglesi e ha completato 30 corsi civili e militari. Conosce il latino, il tedesco, l'inglese, il francese e lo spagnolo.Thiago Soares, avvocato, ha conseguito la laurea con lode.
