Pamela Springer's aesthetics knowledge has given her the recognition as a leader in the advanced aesthetics education. She is a highly sought-after professional speaker for TV, medical conferences, and aesthetic trade shows. She has appeared on Oprah, and as a skincare expert on stations, such as Fox, NBC and ABC stations, nationally. As a professional speaker, Ms. Springer addresses the beauty industry lack of specialized training when it comes to the skin differences between people of other races. Her company, Global Skin Solutions, LLC has become a national continuing education provider for the California Board of Registered Nursing. Being a CE provider allows Springer to train medical staff on the nuances of ethnic skin; how to lower risk factors and enhance results. Pamela began her career in the beauty industry as a National Training Director for the first major ethnic skin care company. She soon discovered the lack of education in pigmentation d and the understanding of diverse ethnic skin. As an African American woman who has a mixed ancestry from three other lineages, her passion became educating other skin care professionals on the unique nuances of ethnic pigmented skin. Before opening The Skin & Makeup Institute of Arizona in 2000, Pamela completed a 9-month preceptorship under the tutelage of a board-certified dermatologist and medical school professor specializing in Ethno-Dermatology. Springer launched Global Skin Solutions LLC, a corrective skincare line in 2009. In 2011, Global Skin Solutions (GSS) received a board-certified dermatologist product endorsement and recommendation. GSS is formulated to reflect the unique challenges that professionals face in providing treatment modalities for today's diverse ethnic skincare market. Her certification courses are based on Ethno-Dermatology science-related didactics and evidence-based treatment modalities. This certification program provides advanced aesthetics training in understanding the genetic composition; gives answers to therapeutically challenging pigment disorders; and imparts cultural diversity information. As skin care professionals, no longer will they have to be "afraid of the dark." Register on pamelaspringer.com to receive information on the certification program. The goal is to give you a road map to clinical implications, the hierarchy of treatment options, and risk factors of each modality for your diverse skin tone patient/client.
