Rida Afrilyasanti erwarb ihren Abschluss am English Language Teaching Program der Staatlichen Universität Malang, Indonesien. Im Jahr 2008 nahm sie an einem Studentenaustauschprogramm in den USA teil. Derzeit ist sie als EFL-Lehrerin tätig. Sie ist aktiv im Schreiben und Präsentieren von Papieren über EFL-Unterricht. Ihre jüngste Arbeit (mitverfasst) wurde in Language in India veröffentlicht.
