The Wiener-Hopf technique has been extensively used with a variety of applications in different research areas including diffraction problems. In available literature, one can find numerous problems that have been solved using Wiener-Hopf technique. Applications of Wiener-Hopf technique include noise reduction, crystal growth, fracture mechanics, mathematical finance, diffusion models, solid mechanics, mathematical physics, viscous problems and of course diffraction/scattering of waves. In this book, the WH technique leads to an approach for considering the diffraction of waves by half planes,…mehr

In this book, the WH technique leads to an approach for considering the diffraction of waves by half planes, step discontinuities and strips of various natures in a variety of mediums.
