Gary L. McIntosh is distinguished affiliate professor of Christian Ministry and Leadership at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, where he teaches courses in the field of Pastoral Theology and North American Missiology. Dr. McIntosh has received several awards, most recently the Win Arn Lifetime Achievement Award from the Great Commission Research Network and the Lifetime Achievement Award from Church Leader Insights. He has forty years of experience consulting non-profit organizations, coaching of leaders, and seminar presentations. Through the Church Growth Network, Gary has analyzed over 1,200 churches representing some 90+ denominations throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, and Southeast Asia. His articles have appeared in numerous publications. For fun Gary likes to read biographies, and has an extensive collection of books on his childhood hero, Theodore Roosevelt. He also enjoys fishing with his wife of 54 years, but admits that she always catches the largest fish. Gary and his wife Carol reside in Temecula, CA and have two married children and eight grandchildren and one great grandson.
