The current study focuses on improving diagnostic tools for urinary bladder pathology induced by experimental factors and searching for effective treatments. Despite significant advancements in this field, the developmental mechanisms underlying bladder disorders still require further investigation due to the intricate and multifaceted pathological processes. At the same time, the escalating technogenic impact on the environment over the past decades poses a formidable threat to organisms and the planet. As treatment approaches for environmentally related diseases continue to improve, they are expected to evolve towards targeted interventions that specifically address a particular type of threatening factor (pollutant). The crucial aspect in this pursuit is to search for highly effective therapeutic drugs or natural supplements that can completely inhibit the toxic effects or excessive absorption of heavy metals in the body without interfering with essential trace elements. Consequently, our study aimed to consolidate knowledge on the diagnostic features of changes in the urinary bladder induced by heavy metals and to determine the protective properties of vitamin E treatment.
