Rural Human Resource Development is one of the important themes of present day study because the core concept of social wellbeing lies in it. It helps the people in maintaining the social mobility, prosperity, exaltation and also in enjoying the life of peace and comfort. Objective of this study is to analyze variation in the composite pattern of Rural HRD and Utilization. The study is mainly based on the primary data collected from sample households selected from eleven villages of different social groups of eleven C.D Blocks of Murshidabad district of W.B. The study also incorporates some relevant secondary data. Findings of the study show that the percentage of undeveloped and underdeveloped Human Resources (based on educational achievements of individuals) is found fairly higher. The development of Human Resources based on variation of the percentage range of positive composite scores shows that the percentage of both male and female HRD is higher in the medium HRD categories. The utilization of both male and female human resources follows its HRD index. The percentage of both male and female HR Utilization is found higher in adequately utilized category and lower in under.
