To assist progress towards more fully understanding the importance of improving how we manage supply chains we need to develop some conceptual frameworks with defined parameters. This book undertakes to do this. In this book I tried to develop and evaluate supply chain management strategies and activities. To do this from many perspectives this book has been divided into eleven chapters. This book is the result of many years of facilitating, researching, and teaching supply chain management. It is important to teach our students skills that are based in research from both the practical field and other related disciplines.
