Developing countries lack the relevant knowledge and resources to acquire and manage such expensive infrastructure. The goal of this book is to develop an inexpensive web-based climate data distribution system to enable third world climate scientists to access and analyze data free of chargeusing Open source software tools. The OpeNDAP is an software framework developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and The University of Rhode Island (URI) to provide a platform for building inexpensive distributed data infrastructure.

Mohammad Jobair was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1980. He finished his high school diploma from Notre Dame College, Dhaka in 1997. He made his Bachelor of Urban and Rural Planning from Khulna University in 2003 and Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2006.
