Autorenporträt
Dick Foeken, is senior researcher at the African Studies Centre in Leiden. He published numerous books and articles on livelihood issues, mainly in Kenya. Ton Dietz, is Director of the African Studies Centre in Leiden and Professor in African development at Leiden University. He has published widely on various themes in development studies, with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. Leo de Haan is Rector of the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam and Professor of Development Studies. He has published widely on several themes in development studies, with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. Linda Johnson is executive secretary of the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) and secretary to the Curatorium of the Prince Claus Chair.
