A water supply system has been developed for Savar municipality, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Extensive primary and secondary surveys have been conducted to determine different features of the study area such as demographic profile, socio-economic conditions, geological settings, hydrological situation, metrological state, water demand, infrastructure, and land use patterns. Mohammad Rasel Kabir is an Urban Planner from Bangladesh. He has a long hands-on experience in preparation of infrastructure development master plans for several small and medium towns in Bangladesh. Mr. Kabir also held an honorary position in the Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP) as a Board Member (Academic Affairs) for two consecutive terms.
