Objective; -The main objective of this study is to assess determinants of maternal near misses among admitted women in public health facilities of West Gojam Zone, Ethiopia. Method:-Health facility based unmatched case control studies were conducted from 22 September 2021 to 30 October 2021at public health facilities in West Gojam Zone, Ethiopia. The data were collected from selected public health facilities in West Gojam Zone. Data were collected using interviewer administered questionnaire and reviewing patients' records. Data were entered and analyzed by SPSS version 25. Bivariate and Multiple variable logistic regression analysis were done to identify independent predictors of maternal near miss.
