The Canadian authors, a mother-daughter team, are both educators with a great passion for mystery fiction and epic thrillers, international travel, and music and arts. Their first novels were an Inuit trilogy: Alec's Journey, Son of Alec, and Malakiak, Dog-Sleuth.
