He is the author of Designing Modern Norway: A History of Design Discourse and Design History: Understanding Theory and Method, editor of Scandinavian Design: Alternative Histories, and co-editor, with Grace Lees-Maffei, of Made in Italy: Rethinking a Century of Italian Design.
