Laura Gonzales is assistant professor of digital writing and cultural rhetorics in the Department of English at the University of Florida. She is the author of Sites of Translation: What Multilinguals Can Teach Us about Digital Writing and Rhetoric, the coeditor of Latina Leadership: Language and Literacy Education across Communities, and the author of numerous articles and collections related to language diversity, community engagement, and technical communication. Her work has been awarded the 2020 Conference on College Composition and Communication Advancement of Knowledge Award, the 2020 7Cs Technology Innovator Award, and the 2016 Digital Rhetoric Collaborative Book Prize, among others. She is currently the vice president of the Association of Teachers of Technical Writing and the editor of Reflections: A Journal of Community-Engaged Writing and Rhetoric.
