My name is Caleb Steimle. I was born in California but I grew up in Alabama. Not a lot happened in my life until I went to Mexico for a church mission. Its too much to explain here but the short version is I was reborn spiritually, and started over when I came back. Then I joined the military at age 22, and that helped to kickstart my life again. I was in the military for almost 5 years. I learned a lot from my time in the Army, and I met a lot of interesting people. I ended up getting out of the military though, which was complicated, but I have an honorable discharge so it wasn't anything bad. After I got out of the military I moved to Colorado, where I was hoping to go to school to study physics. However, I did not like the cold, so I decided to move to Florida instead. I've been living here in Florida for the past 5 years and I love it. I love the weather and the beach, and the people are nice. I started drawing a few years back when I did an art therapy class, and I really enjoyed it. I came up with my own idea to draw from lines and shapes. It just made more sense to me to break it down that way. I can't remember exactly where I got the idea but I came up with the idea to make a drawing workbook, and I used my method of lines and shapes to create a very basic approach to learning how to draw. I currently paint and draw and I work at a surf shop on the beach. Life is good.
