Balaji Thiru, né à Tamil Nadu, en Inde, le 13 mai 1989, a obtenu sa licence en génie mécanique en 2011 à l'université Anna, à Chennai, et a terminé son master en robotique à l'université SRM, à Chennai. Il est actuellement professeur assistant à l'université Vel Tech, à Chennai, et se consacre à la recherche en robotique.
