Daniel Lirebo Sokido was born in 1973. He has a Msc in Urban Design and Planning from Addis Ababa University (2006). Currently he is a Lecturer and the Head of Department of Urban Planning Institute of Urban Development Studies at the Ethiopian Civil Service University.
