Tim Matthews is a 19-year-old college student at IUPUI in Indianapolis, studying the fine art of English. He has grown up with the passion of writing since he was a young man. He has lived a life of trials which has only inspired him to write more and reach other people through his words and his writing. He is a graduate from Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis. "I had been writing my entire life, but after 9/11, I became inspired to write military books, including this one. I've grown into writing an array of different topics since. My passion of writing is a way to express my own feelings as well as to provoke the reader to think about certain aspects of life, and to understand that we can never take anything for granted." Tim Matthews continues to live in Indianapolis, focusing on writing, school, and most importantly, his long time-girlfriend, now fiancee, Charissa.
