Moreover due to increasing globalization and technology advancement, it is becoming increasingly vital for Indian manufacturing industry to implement sustainable supply chain initiatives to capitalize on economic gains and become lean in the process. Implementing Sustainability initiatives in the supply chain is a haunting task. This crucial area for manufacturing industry supply chain of developing nations can be well understood by a systematic approach followed in this study. The critical factors for implementations of sustainability issues in the supply chain were identified.
