Joseph J. Costantino is a Brooklyn, NY native. Most of his books are a reflection of his experiences growing up in his Park Slope neighborhood. Surrounded by a myriad of characters he learned how to interact with people in all walks of life, including, mobsters, gang members, musicians and local politicians. His work is notable for his clear concise style and colorful dialogue. Living on Long Island and away from the hustling city he is able to reflect on these memories and transform them into compelling stories.
