Diane Maender was born in Salt Lake City but soon thereafter life and work and love set her adrift. She has lived in Port of Spain, Houston, Boston, Washington, D.C., Vienna, Dubai, Key Largo, and Cairo, each place leaving an indelible mark on her mind and heart. She currently lives in Cairo with her husband and three children. This is her first book for children.
