After receiving a BFA from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, David Klamen took an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Art critic David Pagel writes for the Los Angeles Times and is an assistant professor of art theory and history at Claremont Graduate University. Russell Panczenko is director of the Chazen Museum of Art.
