In 1978, she proudly reigned as the first Miss Greater Utica. She also held titles of Miss Utica Blue Jay, Miss New York State Teenage Pageant Finalist, and Miss Empire State Pageant's Most Promising Model. Kim continues to work in print media and commercial advertising. Her beauty also radiates from within, evidenced in the life she has built. Kim is the proud mother of three successful children, Megan, Meredith and Ryan. She continues to reside in the Utica area, and whenever possible, she is an avid supporter of the community. She has tirelessly donated her time to View Arts Center, Utica Children's Museum, Legal Line, American Heart Association, Utica Boilermaker Roadrace, Mohawk Valley Ballet, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
