Joana Xipolitas is the author of the delectable children's book Cupcakes and Summer Raindrops. Before starting to write children's books, Joana worked closely with the community while obtaining her degrees in Psychology with a specialty focusing on Clinical Psychology. Joana is an avid nature-lover and enjoys the rugged outdoors, hiking, gardening, oil painting, barre/yoga, and spending time with her family. She is a passionate mental health advocate and believes that every person has a purpose only they can fulfill in life. She encourages all to let their light shine so brightly it overpowers the darkness. Joana lives in North Carolina with her family and two pups, Charlie and Jack.
