ANNE MARIE ANDERSON is a three-time Emmy award winning sports broadcaster, keynote speaker and author. Having spent more than three decades in sports television both behind and in front of the camera, she has covered six Olympic Games, heavyweight title fights, golf's majors, NBA/MLB playoffs and the Super Bowl among countless other marquee events. With multiple Emmy Awards under her belt for her behind the scenes contributions to ESPN's SportsCenter, Anderson made the audacious move to give up her producer role at the network's headquarters in Connecticut and move cross country to California to create the life she wanted. Within a week of arriving in Manhattan Beach ESPN offered her a contract that ended up more than doubling her salary. Soon she began to examine other areas of her life in which she sought to make changes and challenge the status quo. In 2000 Anne Marie set out for a new challenge in front of the camera as a play by play announcer, a role that until that time had been traditionally occupied by men. Since then, Anderson has become one of the most experienced female play by play announcers in the country calling live sporting events on a variety of networks including ESPN, ABC, NBC, Fox and TBS.
