Currently the world lives in the era of fast and efficient decision making, thus demanding from organizations a competent strategic management, which can be achieved by the proper management of information that can be acquired through the Information Management and Information Systems. To this end, a bibliographic study was conducted on Information Management and Database, through books, articles and websites. It was observed the need of a software for the warehouse sector of a company, aiming the computerization of the data archiving. The use of this tool will contribute to the control of material leaving the company's warehouse. For this purpose, the SICSM - Sistema de Informação para Controle de Saída de Material para um almoxarifado (Information System to Control the Outflow of Material from the Warehouses) was created, through Microsoft's MS Access 2013 software, where the system's user, which in this case is the warehouseman, will register all the employees' and materials' data, perform the whole outflow control and generate reports. The software Lucidchart was also used for the creation of diagrams, which helped in the system analysis.
