Autorenporträt
Mike and Jacqui Welham have published books with mainstream publishers and haven been commissioned to write specialist nonfiction works as well as a growing list of conspiracy novels. They are best known for their research, which began in the 1980s, into the life of Commander L. K. P. Crabb, a British frogman who disappeared on a spying mission under a Russian warship in Portsmouth, England, in 1956. That culminated into their two books, Frogman Spy and The Crabb Enigma. Then the story reinvented itself following contact with family members of Maitland Pendock, Crabb's best friend and fellow spy. Crabb and the Grey Rabbit is a novel based on fact to provide the story of possibly the greatest British spy mystery, where the official record of events is being held secret until 2056 under the UK one-hundred-year secrecy rule.
