In 2020, he was recognised as one of the 6 Youngest Professors in Nigeria. He pioneered the Centre for Economic Policy and Development Research (CEPDeR) at Covenant University, Ota. Gbadebo Odularu is affiliated with Bay Atlantic University (BAU), Socio-Economic Research Applications & Projects (SERAP), and Nexford University (NXU), which are all located in Washington D. C, USA.
