Based on these discoveries, the study recommends amongst others, that Bayelsa State Government should train Forensic accountants to man all her Ministries, Departments, and Agencies as a proactive measure to check fraud.

Dr. Adongoi Toakodi was born in 1973 in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Uyo, Uyo Akkwa Ibom State , Nigeria, with specialization in Criminology. His passion in research is centered on Policing and Maritime Criminality.
