Man and indeed, society at large, can sometimes avoid issues on religion, birthday parties and even education as an everyday necessity of life. But language and language use is part of us everyday because every hour and every minute of activities we have to use language. Hence, those experts who have to research on the nature of language use must be at work always. Contemporary Issues in Bilingualism and Interpretation is one of the contributions to the language question. It is innovatory enough to find issues such as translation, bilingualism, the role and use of the world's most important languages being addressed in one volume. It is my hope, therefore, that experts in languages and linguistics, translation and related subjects, will find the book a handy companion. Also world bodies like the United Nations, tourism outfits and the hotel or hospitality industry will find it useful in their research and operations in the area of language use.
