Autorenporträt
Angela's love for children's literature grew organically from her experiences with her youngest son, Andrew. His use of art as both storytelling medium and soothing mechanism inspired her to create her first book, Constance the Cowlet. It is both a window into Andrew's perceptions and an homage to her father, Phil, whose short story was the genesis of the book. It exemplifies the values that have defined her life - curiosity, love of family, love of language and learning, being a helper, being unafraid of engaging the world and growing from experience.
