María Soto nació en A Coruña y creció en una familia numerosa. Estudió Logopedia y, más adelante, mientras cursaba Psicología, descubrió la Disciplina Positiva. Se certificó como facilitadora por la Positive Discipline Association y, desde los inicios de esta metodología en nuestro país, se posicionó como uno de los referentes a nivel nacional por sus textos en redes sociales, sus conferencias y sus formaciones. Para desarrollar su idea de difusión fundó el proyecto Educa Bonito, desde donde inspira a familias de todo el mundo con el mensaje de una educación basada en el respeto mutuo. En 2020 publicó Educa bonito (Vergara). Confianza cien, expectativa cero es su segundo libro. María Soto es madre de tres hijos.
